  • If a court was to see that the statements were not admissable, how would that affect past cases?

    Possibly the losing party might be able to sue the retailers/landowners after the event, if misleading or foul play (allegedly) was exposed which caused them tangible loss? If I were Ming Rider I'd be suing the landowner for at least double the amount he paid PE after his case, seeing as I understand his witness statement was dated after the parking event.

    IMO you should always demand signatories to a contract which is used in evidence turn up to testify the signatures or at very least sign a sworn affidavit.
    No lawyer would ever allow a un verified contract to get passed first base in any court case where it formed evidence.
    As we know parking eye to use false perjured statements, requesting signatories appear as witnesses must be a sure fire way to see them chuck the case.
