I thought Aggie and Kim's tip about leaving the dish clothes, brushes, etc in boiling water with a squirt of bleach and washing up liquid added to keep your cloths fresh was great.
You simply do this before bed, in the morning, wring out the cloths, etc (no need to rinse as your cloth is ready with bleach) and then run the water away, running the brush around the bowl as its draining to clean it.
The dash of bleach will help keep the drains smelling clean too. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

How can I sign up for a UK group? I see that reminders are sent via a yahoo group now but I guess the times will still be American. I'd love to get reminders all day at the right times (might help me get myself into gear!)Saving to pay the tax man0
