call my internet provider (AOL) and moan about the price see my contract reduced from £25 to £10 a month sold my tomtom one £100
and put £1500 in savings as i did not have before paid me £16 pounds for 3 months not much but better than nothing
and reduce the amout i was spending in the wekk supermaket food from £200 to £135 on avverage a month and know i decided to take my lunch to work insted of buying the lunch £15 pounds a week

I am sorry if I made too many mistakes in my writing as English is not my first language:A

Well done and well done for the language skills you exhibit - better than a lot of English people I know!
Moneysaving is a universal language to us all!0 -
Well done.
I'm also feeling quite proud of myself today - I've been shedding the dead wood.
Ages ago I got involved in affiliate marketing. I stopped months ago, but have still had a subscription to a 'help' site at a cost of around £15 per month. Ended that today.
I got VM to cut my bill to £35 for phone/broadband/tv full package, with 2 set top boxes (one for the kids and one for me) I was paying around £47 before.
My mobile package was £35 per month, and as my contract was over, I phoned 3 to ask what rate I could get. I am keeping my phone which I really like (N70) and my bill is going to only be £5 per month. Saving of £30 per month, with no loss of service - I'll still get 300 minutes, 150 texts, 25mms, 25 picture messages, and £5 in downloads. I did have 400 minutes and 200 texts, but I've never gone over and always have left over minutes.
I was paying £8 quid a month for mobile insurance, and have just found out today that my advantage gold natwest account includes free insurance, so have cancelled the £8.
I usually buy travel insurance, but the natwest a/c includes annual free insurance. I'm not sure of what I'll save, but it's a fair whack I think.
I cancelled 2 direct debits to two charities which I've been donating to for over 2.5 years. I need the money myself at the moment, and when I can donate again, I'd rather give to smaller organisations which are closer to me (hospice is definitely on the list). Saving £20 per month.
All in all, I reckon spreading the travel insurance over a year I'll be saving £90 per month! Not to be sneezed at.
I'll also be cutting down on food shopping, and taking kids to free parks and stuff.:j0 -
Oh - I forgot, I also had an ebay shop which I hadn't used for ages, but was costing around £6 per month. Gone, gone, gone!;)
I must say, although it's really nice to know that it's money I won't be forking out for in future, I do feel a bit sick at how much has been wasted...._pale_0
