BG sending out Dual Fuel discount to meter has anyone had this email?

Today i got a email from British Gas telling me that they are sending me a £11 credit to my meter and will get it within 28 days when i top up.
This credit is for Dual Fuel discount and there way to say Thankyou for taking both with them.
Has anyone got this email as well?
have they been told to do this as im sure they would not do it off there own back.
