PSU should be ok, I've ran something similar in powerdraw (6670) on a pico 180w PSU with an i3 and worked spot on.
If the GPU draws 75w max, the CPU 45w max, the HD, memory etc draw will still be under 80% of 220 at full load (which never happens much unless benchmarking).
But yeah, a new case and PSU would be more cost effective.0 -

i3-2130 TDP at 65W
I cross check those component with pcparkpicker, and it say 206W. That's why I am a bit concern.
I don't have great confident in the quality of PSU come with these pre-built PC0 -
I'm starting to lose you guys now. My son just got back from school and mentioned FPS (?) And Battlefield 3, not sure of the connection!
I'm really a bit of a simpleton when it comes to these things.Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

think youll have to sit down with your son and explain that:
His power supply wont power up a large graphics card.
His computer tower wont house a large graphics card.
and his options for a good one to achieve maximum FPS (frames per second) with high graphics setting is severely impacted on by having to opt for low end graphics cards that will run the game but not on maximum game settings.
he could also mean FPS as in First Person Shooter games but when it comes to computer terminology its frames per second.0 -
I'm sure he meant First Person Shooter, qualified by mentioned Battlefield 3.
But you're right, when you play a FPS game you want a high fps.0 -

better PSU would set OP back £50-80 a full atx case could set her back £60.00 plus.
someone to swap it all as I doubt op knows or her son will know or they would have built one previously.
it sounds easy to say "stick it in a new case with better PSU" but in reality the extra cost and hassle to do outweighs the need to.0 -

Those costs are a bit high, you can get a proper brand 80% PSU for less then £40, and a midi case (dont see why full atx would be needed) for as little as £20.
obviously this means stripping out the current system and putting it into the new case (doubt weather the OP knows anything about doing that)0 -

midi case will be hit and miss for the graphics card fitment inside the case. I have GTX560EN in my full tower it came close to not fitting inside it due to the hard drive cage in my old tower.
again midi case wont aid cooling of the card properly or consistently as its squished up sharing the heat its producing.
PSU. don't know 80% brand is or wattage perhaps refrase because if you think a 800watt will be cheap as chips in a named brand your wrong, mine is a corsair 750w modular, £90.00 worth.
then is worth the extra cost.
if the budget is say £150, then you lose that £60 or so to a case and psu leaving not very much to buy a good card well it wont buy a good card at all.0
