Toilet base leaking a brown fluid!

But it's not the obvious stuff...
Anyone able to advise me what it could be?
It's only been a few days since it started, and appears to be appearing through the "grouting" (I'm not technical) but comes up as a brown fluid, like a rust colour.
It might be that the toilet seat is sitting on a raised "wooden block" so the pipe matches up with the out flow.
From my limited description, can anyone hint at what it could be? I'm really unsure and don't know if I can leave it a few days or if we need someone to look at it asap?
Thanks, I'm viewing you as my fourth emergency service

It could be rust. Has water leaked onto a bolt and then seeped out?0

I would pour some red or blue food colouring into the toilet bowl and wait a while and see if there is any coloured leakage, at least that wayyou can eliminate any hairline cracks in the actual toilet.
It could be something as simple as a screw fixing that has rusted and needs replacing.
After trying the above,I would make sure the floor is totally dry, thenplace white kitchen paper all around the bottom of the toilet and flush then wait a while and see if you can locate the exact source of the leakage.
This will give you a better idea of the problem and if you cannot fix at least it will save paying a plumber the extra cost of locating the source.
Good luck0
