Howden - Kitchen Installer - How to find a good one?

I have bought the Howdens Kitchen Delivered with my friends trade account. Howdens referred a installer who has quoted 4.6K. And i feel is really high!!

My kitchen is 13X13 ft and has 18 units to fit. The job involves complete refurbusmit(Board over ceiling, skimming, flooring,6 new electrical points, modify existing plumbing to fit DW/WM, NO wall tiles). Worktop is granite and is fitted by the granite supplier.

How to find installers specialized in Howden Kitchens in our local area to get a comparision quote. The howdens depot is not giving any other reference!!

I live in north london.

Any suggestions please!!!

That's far to much , I would say nearly half that but don't know all the details.
You don't have to be a specialised Howdens fitter as they are simple to fit.
Go on KFF forum and ask, there are a few very good fitters there around London .

Howden said, we need a Howden specialised fitter to fit this new design curved corner posts(Speical tools to cut/fix,,,).

How to find a good Howden kitchen installer?!!

I have fitters in at the moment in Nottingham,19 units,re board ceiling,two internal walls removed and the whole kitchen replastered.
Dishwasher,and washer resited,and other plumbing alterations,numerous new sockets,new radiators fitted,granite tops,upstands,and cills fitted ,Karndean floor fitted 26 metres the whole lot £2900
The job will take two weeks in total.

I think Howdens are telling you a load of rubbish No special tools needed, just the normal tools needed to fit a kitchen.

Howdens don't even approve fitters, your man is looking for a very sizeable backhander from this 'approved' guy. That's a silly amount to charge.
