Payment protection on overdraft facilities

Hi,
First post ever!! How would I be able to check how much i have been charged for a payment protection policy on an overdraft of £4,500. I've checked my statements which have charges on but not sure which relates to this policy. I bank with RBS. They recently wrote to me to stop the policy and ask that I write if I wanted to make a claim!! I had this overdraft for a number of years. Thanks in advance
