Yes with mine you have to twist it to the right and obviously when you put it in...., you have to position the tin so it looks like a diamond shape and then twist so it locks into place if you see what I mean!

Mine is a Morphy richards fast bake also so the above recipe should be fine
  • No you must put in all ingredients
  • Actually the recipe I've given you is for the normal standard baking time, which taste much nicer than the fast bake option BUT on the other hand the FAST BAKE can be a life safer in those emergencies when you've run out and it's a Sunday afternoon after 4pm...
  • For the Fastbake option would you like the ingriedients for the small or large loaf or both...?
  • I can also highly recommend the mixed fruit loaf (my favourite)..., once again just let me know if you'd like this or not

Make a few copies of the recipe as mine always seem to vanish and reappear when not needed, also if you have a laminator then do laminate a copy so you can wipe of any spills like oil etc

HI THERE SCOOPER for a 2lb loaf tin is use....

    300ml warm water
    1oz butter/marge
    500g bread flour
    1 sachet yeast
    1tbs salt
my ingredients go in the pan in the order listed.. you dont have to add milk powder..you can use part milk and add hot water to get it to the right temperature.... but if you use milk you get a softer crust..i like crusty - so use water

Some people add sugar...but originaly sugar was added to feed fresh yeast so if using dry it isnt needed

Also i dont add the salt until about 10 mins before the mixing finishes...i got this tip from a baker, who says it gives the yeast time to mix properly into the dough and thus the bread rises better... if you do this remember to stick the salt pot in front of the machine so you dont forget to add it...i have done this before
I have never had this recipe fail....and if you want to bake it in the oven... i only use my machine on dough setting as i dont like it coooked in the machine... anyway take it out after the dough is mixed..shape and drop into an oiled tin, put a carrier bag over it and leave it to rise, slash it lengthways (this stops it from raising unevenly) and bake on gas 7
    hope this helps

I have altered the amount of sugar and salt before but that's the only change I've made.
