I am sad to see you are giving up. I have decided never to give up until the very end - it has taken me SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS to get this far - I should know Friday what is happening! Do write that complaint and send it via your MP - it is outrageous that these sorts of delays are still happening. The governement have absolutely no idea what it is like in the real world of the departments they run! They cut the staff willy nilly without proper consideration to the decimation of services that they actually run and the impact that these cuts have on these people's lives. But why should they care? They have golden plated pensions and a huge income every month so sod Joe Public who actually pay them! The more MPs that know the impact of their decisions the better as far as I'm concerned. When you see PCS members going out on strike because of job cuts it is to save the public services too which are being slashed.0

I find these threads really useful actually master99. I'd appreciate it if you didn't continue spamming every single CSA thread going just to get your post count up! Anyone would think that you too are one of these people that run away from your responsibilities0

He is someone who shys away from his responsibility and like my ex seems to be xtremely proud of himself for doing so.
However when he is older he might grow up and hopefully by that stage his kid will realise what a !!!! he is..0 -
Ok just an update. My case is being dealt with in Bolton or should I say not being dealt with. I received a courtesy telephone call from them today to say that my case will be allocated a case worker in the next couple of weeks and that it has a resolution date in October.
So basically for the last five months or so it has been sitting somewhere collecting dust and all my telephone calls etc have been in vain. I have written a letter of complaint to them as this is not acceptable and when in April, May and June I telephoned them at that stage they kept me hanging on for ages for no reason whatsoever as my case had at that stage not even managed to get passed being given to someone to work on.
I have given up. I have decided to raise my two children on my own as I have been doing in any event and leave their Dad to it. Too be honest he can keep his money and I can enjoy bringing up the children if it is all a struggle then sobeit at least one day the kids will make their own mind up on the person who along with me made them.
I wish everyone else on this site well and hope that the same doesnt happen to them for my own sanity I cannot continue to flog a dead horse.
Thank you to all those who have helped.
Lulumoo, i've never used this site before but I saw your quote and wanted to tell you... please don't give up! Bolton ARE truly awful and i've been trying to get my resubmitted claim through for 18 months now with no joy, this is because i've cancelled it previously because I was in the same frame of mind as you seem to be now. In the long run it has caused even more problems.
I've got my head together now, I don't expect things that are promised to materialise and I know that if I see any maintenance i'll be very thankful for it but if i'm honest it will be for my sons future so I don't mind how long I have to wait, why should my son suffer because his fathers so selfish!
Before you give up, please try the Independant Case Examiner. They are really helpful, just get all your info together and give them a ring to see if you have a case or not, they told me there and then. All of the Bolton cases that are going through the ICE are now being transferred back to Birkenhead so its worth taking this route but be aware, its still a long lengthy process although I did have my first letter from CSA yesterday since contacting them last April - Thank you Birkenhead! Please think carefully before cancelling and Good Luck... ICE Number - 0845 606 0777. (Oh and while I think on, it would also be handy to advise your MP of what is going on to) .0 -
Hi,
Ive had loads of problems with the CSA..
Anyway my MP complained on my behalf and it put onto a CRO in Newcastle who as sorted it out for me.
My Payments are coming from Bolton, But he did say it was going to be transferred to Birkenhead. (and i DID NOT get in touch with ICE)
So im not sure how they are deciding who gets transferred and who doesnt.
PS i think my case as been all round the country now LOL.:ASexy_fufu:A0 -
OK I gave up and decided not to bother thinking about it again... the way the CSA in Bolton have dealt with my case gives me nothing but high blood pressure and since I have given up I have found myself a whole lot more relaxed..
UNTIL today.. I received a letter from Crewe saying thank you for my complaint letter and I quote
"This letter is in response to the complaint that we received from you.
May I first apologise on behalf of the Agency for the fact that you have felt it necessary to complain, we have obviously not provided the level of service that you expected.
The issues raised in your complaint are still being investigated. We will be in touch with you by 14 March 2008 with an update.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us"
"!$^*(U !!!!!! ... 14 March 2008.. is this some kind of JOKE!!! This letter nearly blew my head off.. what the heck is happening...
DO THEY really think I want to waste money I haven't got phoning them... I am off to see my MP tomorrow.. I am not angry at my ex for not paying towards the upkeep of his kids.. I am angry at the sheer incompetence of the CSA ... christ..
Take my advice.. do not phone them it turns out an expensive call and not much to show for it.. I have never got off the phone thinking that was helpful/good.
Writing is the best option at least that way you get some kind of response although looking at the letter I received today.. the CSA can really poke it..
Anyway thanks for your kind comments.... I had just given up and now this letter has inspired me to kick the dead horse for a bit longer!!0 -
MARCH???!!!! You are right to be livid!0
-
Yes March... I rang them today in disbelief but they confirmed it saying that they hoped it would be dealt with before March 2008 but my complaint is in the backlog and therefore that is the date by which it should be dealt with...
OMG ... if that is how serious they take the complaints then there is no hope...0 -
Have you been to your MP? They usually get it dealt with much quicker than that!0
-
erm ... sorry! New to this lark, but can someone tell me what ICE is?:wave:0
