Fabric for a nursery glider

I'm after a bit of advice.
I was given a glider chair for free and I'd like to do it up to fit in with the rest of the nursery.
We're spray painting it white to match the rest of the furniture but I'm stuck at which fabric to get to make a cover for the removable cushion.
The current cover is fleece but I'm not sure what would be the best choice of fabric for being both relatively hard wearing and easy to clean and also where is good price wise for fabric?
Any help appreciated!
