static/dust help needed

hi all, my house is driving me mad! its such a dusty house (I think being between motorway and train track and having dog doesn't help..)
has anyone any tips / products that stop the static dust that is all over stupid back glass tv table and tv and computer please?

wouldn't mind, i'd wanted the daerned glass table thing for months, saved up and everything, flipping hate it now!

    There are special anti-static cleaner sprays and cloths which help prevent the surface attracting dust. It won't prevent it completely and you will have to wipe the surface now and again!

    Try something like this together with an anti-static cloth:

    ooh, thanks,will give that a go.

    I'm going to scour the charity shops for a wooden replacement tv unit and the glass one can go on ebay!!

    Although they look good, those glass TV stands attract a lot of dust!

    I much prefer the closed cabinets.

    Look on eBay for 'Zerostat' - a pistol-type anti-static gun designed originally for neutralising static charge on vinyl records, but probably useful for other applications.

    I remember years ago being told that a diluted solution of something such as Comfort or other similar fabric conditioners helps with reducing dust.

    I do remember using it on such things as the stereo system, but for the life of me can't remember if it worked or not now!
    The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

    I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
