Solar panels for free or buy and get the F.I.T?

Thanks I saw this company early and sent them an enquiry.
Still unsure about leasing the roof I will need to really read up on this.
I don't want to spend 7k on panels as I won't be there in 10 years. We will likely move out to a more rural house once our kids are in the local school.
Would be nice to benefit from panel electricity with our bang on South facing roof.
But solar PV will add value to the property. How much value is of course another issue. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I had my house revalued recently for a remortgage and had a VERY hard time convincing the valuer that was the case. Even pointed out that there is between £40 & £50k of payments to come back on the lifetime of the system, but bottom line is that NO allowance was made for having the PV system fitted.0 -

Same experience.
As far as our valuer was concerned for remortiging to a new lender it was a 'nice to have - a good selling point' but in no way increased the house value.
