I have posted on this before, but just wondered if anyone had anymore thoughts. The last default on my CRA files disappears next week. All is a sea of green being settled's or ongoing. That on it's own, with an active mortgage that I've had for 6 years, Vodafone contract, Next account, bank account etc should make things dandy.
However, during my financial issues, I had Next and MBNA posting Arrangement to Pay markers - all these are now green as I'm off the arrangement - the MBNA ones for nearly 2 years and the Next one has been green for just coming up for a year (and the account is now active with a credit limit).
Any thoughts on how this might still affect bank account applns, or credit cards? Don't want credit, but I do want to move banks, establish a good relationship and eventually remortgage with them when my fixed comes up next year.
Some on here have suggested it won't impact much, but I can still see some letter writing coming on!!! Any thoughts would be much welcomed.

A few months isn't long to establish a good relationship. The obvious question is why you've moved from your previous bank.0

I'm currently with Santander, or Banco el Gringo as they are known - fed up with banks and want to move to Nationwide. When I say next year, my fixed doesn't actually come up until mid-2015 - I said next year as a throw away - you're right that it takes a little while.0
