My switch will happen 14 days before my current fixed tariff ends, Grrr

Currently with BG on November fix and fall 2013 which ends 30th November.
I called to ask when I can start a switch, the lady at BG said to wait till I had the letter from them telling me tariff ending then I was good to start the switch.So this start date means it not even taken 4 weeks from asking.
I did exactly that and started the switch when the letter arrived, switching to EDF. I've logged into my new EDF account and it says switch happening 18th November. So very quickly.
Will an exit feed which is £30 be added to my account do you think, or so close will they let me off?

Update = Just got through to BG. Lady said all exit fees are not being applied to accounts switching out so not to worry as wont be charged the £30. Got her name just in case!0
