I'd agree on the VW Polo & the Seat Ibiza.... & will add the Mini, I'm always amazed at how much headroom a Mini has.....0

Have to say, I'm not keen on the mew Mini.
The original Mini was brilliant (had several over the years), but don't like the new one.
For a start, it's not "Mini-ish", if IYSWIM.
As for the new Clubman, how can it me a "Mini", when it's H-U-G-E?0 -
Suzuki Swift?
Score highly with Which.
I test drove a 1.5 GLX and a 1.6 VVT Sport this week and I was very impressed. I have a classic mini and I've been looking for a smallish every day car that won't break the bank (any more than it is) for about 6 weeks now. I've considered so many models.0 -
I'd second the Kia Picanto, cheap to run, very low/no tax and peanuts to insure. Not a boy racer car though.Tryingagainandagain wrote: »
I will look at all the car types suggested. I spotted a Kia yesterday that I quite liked the look of so will add that to my list.
Thank you to everyone who responded.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
