Hi everyone, First time here, hope someone can give me some impartial advice and let me know what (if anything!) i'm doing wrong. so do you have this kinda set up?

If so, the clock is supposed to be sealed, though you say you adjusted it.

Could be the previous occupier had problems and tried to sort it him/her self.
