Hi my daughter has just come in crying her eyes out, she has just found her tablet with a broken screen and after loads of questions does not know how this happened, we are assuming it was either stood on or sat on.
It is about 3 weeks from being 1 year old so I have put on a question on the credit card part of this site about claiming under the 12 month purchase insurance and if it is applicable etc.
It seems to work ok and we bought it from Currys, do they replace screens and if so how much would it be roughly?
I have watched a video online and don't fancy changing it myself, where else might you go that is reputable for repair, I dont really fancy these unlock your phone places as I am worried what we could do if the job is not done very well etc. We live in Surrey if anyone knows somewhere.
Our house insurance is not worth it as there is an £200 excess and we bought it for £245.99.
Any ideas or help appreciated.

Facebook.. you or one of your friends will know somebody or they'll know somebody who's fully capable and able to do it. You just need to order the parts and probably throw them £20 or a crate of lager0

Currys is the very last place to source a repair, unless the insurance covers accidental damage. No free lunch, and no free laptop

When I worked in the PC repair business we used to send out any broken Ipads, Ipods, Iphones etc to this company in SE London. I notice they also do Samsung repairs now.

Might be worth giving them a call and asking for a quote. If they can`t do your specific model they may know someone who can.0
