free AVS DVD player

Saw the bit re getting free DVD player - checked out the website and thought "that looks like an idea". The website doesnt say whether its Vista-friendly though - does anyone know? Its getting to be a bit of a habit that I look up things I fancy and head for the free download and get stopped in my tracks by finding that its not yet suitable for Vista!

he stated its a way one can get free DVD playing facilities on pc without having to have additional software - hence my interest.

I could not get it work, it loaded the DVDs but would not play them ???
