you need to look particularly for cards for those with bad credit. Expect a low limit and high interest.
What do you need a credit card for?0 -
I just have and got rejected by all of them.
I needto be able to pay off some bills etc0 -

Firstly I would check all 3 of your credit files - experian, equifax and callcredit. This should give you an idea of where you are working from.
I believe you can also check the registry trust to see if you have any CCJs although I'm not too sure on how much that costs or how to do it.
With regards to borrowing, have you paid any of your cards late recently?
Also beaware that if you owe say 5k and can't afford to pay it all now and you are looking to borrow 5k to consolidate then the lender will see it as you owing 10k and will say, well you can't pay 5k so how will you pay 10k off?
Your only chance is to maybe apply to a credit union if you have one locally. If not you are stuck with just trying to pay off the minimums and pay the most off the highest interest debt first.
If you need help with your debts then head over to debtfreewannabe board and I'm sure they'll help you. Also you can seek help with debts from National Debtline, Stepchange or your local CAB.
Best of Luck

If I'm honest if you cannot afford to pay your bills getting a sub prime credit card is not likely to help you at all long term.
It does not look like you would pay it off in full every month therefore the high interest rates charged on sub prime cards will drag you deeper into debt.
Go to the debt free wanabe board for advice as how to budget better.0 -
Theres no need for any rude comments! Forums are for getting hep or advice which is what im doing!!
I didnt realise you could check your credit rating, so thank you for that, i will look into it tomorrow.
And i know its not goodbin the long run, just need something to ease the pressure.

That is sub-prime.
These card accept people with a flawed credit history, but will give low limits and charge high interest rates (to compensate for the greater risks they are taking).
Prime cards want customers with a good(ish) and established history of borrowing. They give higher limits and charge less interest.0
