what's the cheapest way to book a P&O cruise?

I went on a cruise earlier this year and really fancy another one but I want to maximise the deal - P&O offer a standard 40% for some bookings but I wondered if anything better might be out there?

I do not know if I am allowed to give out a TA's number on here so if you email me i will send it to you. He is the best in the country and always gets the best deals. Absolutely no links with him just used him loads of times! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

My parents use Bolsover (as above) and swear by them.0

May I suggest that you look at the forums on holidaytruths.co.uk as they have an excellent cruise forum which lists bargains as well.No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

Thomas cook have a system they book with called complete cruise solutions, and they give thomas cook exclusive deals ie onboard credit, free parking at southampton, plus discounts so you could try thomas cook. Also i think from today they are having cruise promotions starting. I've known people try to book with p+o and ocean village direct and they've actually been told to try thomas cook cause they'll get a better deal.0

Thomas cook are very good at price matching other firms (even if you fib a bit about the price..)0

Do NOT book direct with P&O as you will absolutely not get the best price. They offer 5% discount for booking on line, whereas the cruise specialist companies will start at 10% discount upwards. The same applies to Celebrity website, better prices can be obtines via travel agents.
With regard to promotions for free parking, on board credit (obc) etc, these are usually P&O promotions either to encourage early bookings or to fill lea=ss popular cruises.| As such the promotions are available to all agents.
Occasionally however P&O will offer a one off sales incentive to the larger cruise specialists, but this is not always the same agent.
The best advice that I can give is for you to subscribe to Cruisekings e mail notification service, which gives immediate and sometimes advance notice of all the best offers available. You can then use this as a price comparison for other specialists, although I have yet to get a more competitive cost than theirs.0
