Laminate/tiles all over the flat.
4 cats, 1 dog.
Looking at either e mop or flash power mop.
emop supposed to work with jus water - find it hard to imagine to be honest
flash power mop needs replacement pads etc
emop "head" design means you have to wring it by hand - can not imagine any other way? nahhh do not like the idea to be honest
but then also hate the bucket/mop combos...
so - flash power mop? but will be expensive to use with all the things it needs ....
someone wrote it is cheap to use (another forum) but then also said she mops her flat once per MONTH
any recommendations?
thanks xx

Hmm - I just use a standard Vileda rag mop with a bucket - that way I can use an cat friendly cleaner which is designed to sanitise as well as clean.
The heads are easy to clean as you can soak it in a bleach solution - what else do I need?:hello:0 -
I used to use the Squizzo mop from Lakeland. The Bona mop also looks good. Nowadays I use a steam mop but not sure if you could use that on laminate

I just use a bog standard "string" type mop head. I take it off the handle and put it in the washing machine every couple of days. I know someone who's used all these new fangled "superior" mop heads and she said they're rubbish. She's gone back to a standard mop now.
And I don't use a wringer type bucket either because the mop always ends up too wet. Rubber gloves and wring it by hand. Boiling hot water with a bit of bleach as well as floor cleaner, brings my floors up beautifully. Might not be advisable to use bleach on laminate though. I don't know, I've only got ceramic tiles.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
Steam mop for me. I have a Shark and its great. Yes we have Laminate floors and tiles in the kitchen.
We have used a steam mop for over 2 years now and if it broke it would be ASAP for a new one.
PS just remember also, no products used on the floors with a steam mop, so saves money in the long run, and is kinder to our furkids xRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten.
