What do you mean the woman at the bank didn't fill out the form properly. Why did you not do it yourself? At the end of the day you still read it and signed to say you agreed.
Why did it take you 4 months to check/ notice you were overdrawn?
Sorry but you sound like you take no responsibility at all and it's everyone elses fault. They are refunding your charges and won't give you anything else. Accept and learn from this. In future, always check and double check.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -
So you had access to online banking but didn't bother to check for months until one night you had a "bad feeling".
Why did you not print off the statements at home or work? Did you really need a whole day off work? Not a lunch break or a weekend trip?
What advice are you looking for? They have already told you what their answer is. Savings £18,000 / £25,000 :beer:0 -
Where did this bad feeling come from all of a sudden?
Did you not find it odd that you had no notice of closure of your account from Natwest?
Are you also saying you had no written contact from them from April - Nov saying you had charges or were overdrawn?0 -
That's the longest sentence with no punctuation I've seen for ages

If someone was managing my money, I would be watching and checking at every step.
People make mistakes, its a fact of life. We all do.
Why did you need to take a day of work to print some statements off, that would take minutes and a tirp to the Halifax after work to post in their letter box.
Of course it's your responsibility, it is obviously her fault, but you have been put back to where you where before it all started.
I would just move on and get over it to be honest. Its all been resolved so why are you stressed now.
Have a bath a glass of something and relax.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Perhaps you native language is not English ... but a few full stops may help people to have a clue about what you are saying.
Did you go to school? Perhaps people at the bank can't understand you either. Just a thought.0 -

People make mistakes. The lady who filled out your form for you obviously made a mistake. You obviously made a mistake and didn't check it over properly. - Advice for next time- Check the form over properly or fill it out yourself.
Yes this is partly your fault. You cannot place 100% blame on someone else when you could of, but didn't bother checking things. Why did you not check all your DD's had been moved over successfully? Why did you not chase for a closing statement?
What do you want halifax to do? Sack the employee for making a human error? Give you money? Send you a hamper?0 -
I couldn't print off the statements because I had the account frozen0
