We’d like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum.
This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are – or become – political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Current usefulness of the forum: 3 outta 10.Almost a hinderence rather than help. Poor show.
It's probably been removed just to annoy you.
Read your own sig.
This place isn't worth the effort.

Not annoying just confusing. I suspect somebody said something that lead to is deletion but not me. I was helpful and recommended something. But not sure why it would be deleted as there was valid helpful info from myself and others. Not much effort was involved either.0 -

If someone said something rude, aggressive etc, then their post might be deleted, not the thread.
Only if your original post contravened the forum rules would the thread be deleted.
Or could be you failed to post correctly? Or the forum crashed just as you posted? Did you actually see the thread after creation?
But for someone who only awards 3 out of 10 to the forum, you seem to still like using it!0 -
I think OP probably asked for the thread to be deleted due to the responses not being to her satisfaction.
IIRC she called someone "sick" for suggesting she ask the neighbour to post his side of the story...0 -

It was several pages long by the time i posted in there and i posted twice. I dont think the ops threads were against any rules it was along he lines of"Ive just moved in and my neighbour is loud at antisocial hours. Its rented what can i do?"
And as i havent asked for help lately the score hasnt moved. But theat doesnt preclude me from posting. But threads dissapearing without notice doesnt strike me as helpful to the op o thise who replyed...0 -
