Does anyone know if it's possible to reduce this picture to the MSE avatar maximum size of 80 by 80 pixels or 14.9 KB (whichever is smaller)?

Or maybe some kind person could do it for me :)

Thankyou for having a go espresso.

Unfortunately it doesn't move/animate when saved as an avatar.

You need to download the image from my post which is hosted here http://i44.tinypic.com/2eur0at.gif

Save the file on your PC but it must be saved as whatever.gif

If the file does not animate when on your PC, you have not downloaded it correctly.

Then upload this animated .gif file as your avatar into usercp.

Right - given it a go and had to remove more than half the frames - and adjusted timings at the same time. There are 20 frames in the animation. To reach the scale you're after you basically can't see the dalek turning its head, it scales horribly to get it under 15kb.

EDIT - espresso's is similar, use that

    Thankyou johnmc.

It worked, but it has to be very small.

I'll save that link to online image editor - it'll be good for future use too.

Sorry been on the phone. Yes you are doing something wrong, the file uploaded to tinypic has to be saved as a gif file because a jpg does not support animation.

Try copying the link posted in post #4 and use that link in your MSE User profile.
