I just went out to put stuff into the recycling box and nearly did a Mary Poppins over the roof. There's a fair wind blowing, hope DS2 keeps his kilt under control or there will be some interesting wedding photos

DH is clearing the paperwork mountain and I'm supposed to be decluttering- well, I started on the bookcase then found something I wanted to read :o

HH - I think your Head went on the same course as my previous one. At least this one is human!
Falleniceangel - Go for the easy option, it's Saturday!
Luxor - Hope DS hasn't gone in real scots style!!

Haven't stopped today till now - cleaned and packed all day. I can see progress so at least that's one thing. Went to the charity shop too to drop off another load of stuff.

Lady came to buy the last of the furniture this morning, turns out I have met her before at a wedding - she's the minister's wife. She wanted to know all about the ladies night and if I knew of another one so she and her friend could go and see the naked butlers!! She's a hoot and fair cheered me up.

Had lo curry and rice for lunch and it's salmon and veggies for tea. The weather is appalling, it hasn't stopped raining all day and it's heavy rain too. Oh well, a relax in a bare room tonight with strictly on.

    Take care. XX

Back from a nice trip out to Wells. Could have been a disaster as it was chucking it down when we arrived. It was fine in Bristol so I hung the towels out....

Nipped into the town hall to look at a craft fair in aid of the local carers association. We ended up having a cuppa and a jacket potato with salad and coleslaw for a bargainous price. Lovely atmosphere too with beautifully decorated tables. And then the sun came out and it started drying up so we had a lovely amble up and down. OH bought some railway dvd's from the second hand bookstall and treated me to a lovely bead bracelet from the bead shop. Probably would have cost me the same amount to make so very pleased with it. Well that's our treats for the week then.

Came home and the washing was almost dry.....lovely. I had a burst of energy and washed the kitchen and bathroom floors(we went out early) so just catching up on here.

Making the most of the car as it has to go into the garage for tlc for three days next week as OH scraped the rear wheel arch on the drive gatepost. He was just turning in when a car flew down the road on the wrong side as there was a car parked up the road. DH decided better the car than a head on collision so turned more sharply into the drive and bingo! That will be £450 quid we didn't want to spend.

So that's my day, nice to hear about yours.

Jackie O glad to see you back.

Hugs to poorlies and have a good evening. The wind is getting up here......

    Evening all,

Usual Sat morning ritual; Aldi's and grocers.

Came back and the PO had tried to deliver a parcel for DH but addressed to me (it's my ebay account). We'd only been out for an hour, DH decided he would go and collect it. Tried to tell him you usually have to wait 24hours. He was having none of it and said it didn't mention that on the leaflet. Argument ensued, him dragging in completely irrelevent things as usual. He drove off in a huff to get said parcel. I knew he'd be back as he hadn't taken any of my ID. He was pee'd when he came back minus parcel and I told him if he read the card properly 'it tells you on there you need addressee's ID' he called me a few names for not mentioning it. He went for the second time only to come back empty handed as the parcel wasn't back yet. I did laugh. Naughty I know.

He thankfully went to football this afternoon so I had some peace, then he had the cheek when he came in to ask if I was happier now. Grrrr what a pr##k.

Think we are going to the fireworks tonight. That should be fun...

    Have a good evening.
