Hello
I'm a novice at computers....i'm wanting to set up a wireless network for my hotel guests to use. 2 different companies wanted up to £700 to set it up.I bought a Netgear DG834G Wireless ADSL2+ modem router..it covers 90% of my Victorian hotel (thick walls etc..3 floors).I have now bought a netgear WG102 Prosafe 802.11g Wireless Access point which will extend the network. This is where my problems start...it's all double dutch to me. Has anyone used this kit and can give me SIMPLE instructions on setting it up.When it all works I will have saved myself about £500 ..well worth the aggro.
Cheers

Which bit of the WG102 installation guide linked here do you need help with?
Maybe step 1 b, 'configure PC with static IP address' for starters. Control Panel - Network Connections - right-click Local Area Connection - Properties - double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Select 'Use the following IP address' and enter the IP address and subnet mask specified in the guide.0
