Really lovely idea however I would have hated it, I hardly told anyone when I went through IVF mainly because it's a slow process, and I couldn't be doing with the attention.

I'd go for the comedy or chill out hamper.

Hope it goes well for your friend and the hamper, they are fortunate to have thoughtful people around them xx

If it were me I wouldn't have liked it either. Perhaps a date night hamper instead so they can have some relaxing time to enjoy each others company to celebrate the good news?

So perhaps a movie night in themed hamper or similar might go down better than focusing solely on the IVF as the focus.

I don't know much about IVF but how about chocolates or some fictional books to read in the waiting room? I wouldn't put too much in it though, it might be a bit overwhelming.

No, no you haven't offended anyone! Everyone is different I just wanted to make sure the gift would be welcome . If you know they'll appreciate it then it's fine.

caroline78 i think this is a fab idea, i would have loved someone to have been so thoughtful when we are going through our treatment.

I did recently send my friend a candle which i found which had a lovely phrase on the holder about not giving up etc when she was going through the same and she really appreciated it. Good luck to them, its such a tough thing to go through for anybody xx
