re-mortgage?

They didnt when I had my mortgage with them (2 years ago). The retaining deals were uncompetitive as well as the best deals were reserved for new customers only.
I agree. My 2yr fixed rate mortgage with the halifax ends in 2 months. I went into my local branch the other day to speak to an adviser. She couldn't offer me anything worth taking. She actually said I'd be better off looking on the net for a better deal as all their good deals go to new customers! If I decide to move my mortgage, I am going to sell my HBSOshares and empty my ISA account. I'm SO annoyed with them at the moment.0 -

I can appreciate your anger with them. However, please do not "empty" your ISA. Please make sure you just transfer it to another provider. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
