Yes if there is a different prize per day (which 90% of them are) then someone bumps to say that day's is now open & what the prize is. There are usually some lovely people who stay up till midnight & do it then.

Some don't get bumped onto the main comp board because there is no new prize but you can still enter daily.

So for me I enter all the bumped ones on the main comp board then I have a look through the Advents thread & check there are no more I want to enter.

Just been looking through the advents and its seems that the advents have gone down by numbers this year! not moaning at all but do you think loads will be added over the next two days?

Yes, usually they continue to be added. There is enough to keep me going at the mo! Eek!

The only downside of subscribing to the advent threads by email notification is you get lots of bumpers saying 'Yeah I won this yesterday's prize'....then someone else bumps to say 'don't bump!....then the bumper bumps back to say 'sorry!' and on and on it goes......until you tear your hair out!
