Exit fees not always applying?
I wasn't going to bother switching as my exit fees were 60.00 but I emailed British Gas asking them to clarify when the fees do or don't apply. They emailed back to say that if they have confirmation from my new supplier before 31 Dec 2013, the fees will not be charged.
So, unless the process is stalled or has some obstacle, given that I've agreed a new contract today, I'm assuming no charges will apply?
Anyone else had experience of this?
