First Utility Customer Service

Just got off the phone to First Utility - over 32 minutes on hold - to ask why I'd had no response to my email from 22/10 (following up from 2 others) about a refund. The very polite lady on the end informed me that they were working through a backlog and hadn't dealt with it yet !
They have no other way to contact them, and I now will recieve a cheque 'within 15 days'. Seems a little slack !

Their systems can't cope with the influx of business they have had since the other suppliers increased their prices and they said they won't till March. And customer service was poor enough before. I also take telephone from them - First Telecom - and I think they share customer service. No reply to emails and I'm after a refund too. It's not a lot so I'll just keep reminding them - can't face hanging on the phone. Trouble is, their tariffs are good so they know customers will stay.0
