They all do the same job, first preference is firefox then chrome and opera.0

Crikey- I haven't used IE for about 6 years and had totally forgotten about it. I use both Firefox and Chrome.0

Opera has been my main browser since the trauma of trying to run IE6 on an XP machine with 128MB many years ago and IE was just for sites that didn't work with Opera. That's rarely the case now though with IE having lost its dominant position.
However I will admit to liking the touch version of IE on Windows 8 on a touch enabled system, it's very quick, it scales well on high resolution screens and the interface is minimal.

At the risk of resurrecting what looks to be a closed thread, as no-one responded to my post re Comodo Dragon I'm still no wiser as to why, having tried all the main browsers (CHROME, IE, FIREFOX, OPERA, SAFARI, AVANT, etc) Dragon is now my default browser, given that Dragon is based on Google Chrome and Chrome is the one browser I won't have on my computer.
(Given the choice I'd have Opera as my default browser, but the last two versions have been so poor I've reluctantly had to uninstall it. Hopefully the next version will run better, to me it's the best browser out there)0 -
Thanks for that, any advice re add-ons worth installing?
Gave up on CHROME when it asked for my mobile number.
Tried AVANT, didn't seem to have much advantage over IE.
Has it changed much in the last couple of years?0
