Can you get a CCJ for the same debt twice?

Hello Helpful Ones
I am once again relying upon the knowledge of those in the know to assist me.
Basically, I have just learned that I have a CCJ against me for a debt from many years ago, it is due to drop off my credit file in Feb 2014. It was issued by the courts for a debt with NRAM. They have now been sold and the debt is apparently now owned by another company. My question is, after the 6 years can the new company issue me a CCJ against my then clean credit file for a further 6 years because the CCJ will be in a new company's name or can I only have 1 CCJ against me for this debt?
I never ever received any court documents stating that I needed to attend court, nor did I receive the judgment and so I have no idea what the judgment required me to pay but I am worried that IF I call the court in question with the reference that is on my credit file and ask for details that they might flag it up as never have been paid and then enforce it. The reason I didnt pay in the first place is because it was mostly charges and I felt it was unfair to add on as much as they did. This was going on 8 years ago but the CCJ did not come into place until Feb 2008.
I did not think a company could sell on a debt that has a CCJ issued upon it without transferring the name of the company on the judgment as surely the judgment states that I owe the money to NRAM and that the agreement is strictly with NRAM.
Note: NRAM have not once chased me for the debt in over 6 yrs. Even after securing a CCJ, no bailiffs, no charges upon my home, no attachment of earnings NOTHING!
Any ideas as to whether my credit file can be tarnished for a further 6 years IF this new company wishes to do so?
Thanks guys x

Assuming that the original judgment was for the full amount owed under the agreement then the other company cannot get another judgment.
Mind you, assuming that you've not paid anything or acknowledged the debt in writing for the full 6 years then it would be statute barred anyway.
Phone the court - they won't do anything without the creditor asking them to as fees have to be paid for enforcement.0 -

no it wouldn't, a CCJ debt does not become statute barred
and it can be reissued after 6 years0 -

You cannot get a second CCJ for the same debt, not even from a different creditor. If a debt collector tried to take court action then you would have to defend against that on the basis that there was already a judgement on that debt.
The original appear can't reappear back on your credit file after 6years from the initial judgement (and a court is very unlikely to agree for the creditor to be able to take enforcement action against a CCJ after 6years).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
