The ball was trespassing..., spend the money..., buy yourself some new neighbours. (Oh and don't forget to reward the dogs for doing their job!)
  • Funniest Mmd I've ever seen ! If the ball was so precious then why was a kid kicking it around? If a ball comes into my Garden & the pup eats it... Tough ! Honestly this is rediculoust! If a signed ball us that precious then it should be locked away.
  • No no no! Technically they were committing trespass, if the ball injured your dog, smashed your greenhouse, etc. then they would be the ones paying up. I wouldn't even get them a replacement either, they'll just expect a new ball every time they kick it in your garden.
  • The neighbour's son kicked a football into your garden, you have three destructive dogs. I would say that you are quits.

Dont replace it, the child should not have been playing with something that was so valuable, and if he took it without his parents knowledge, then the son should be the one replacing it :)
    mortgage £800 overpayment 2022. £600/£2400 2023 🙂 savings £1853/£1800 😊

Having rows with your neighbours can seriously devalue your house, if you are planning to sell, it's one of the questions which are asked by solicitors these days, you might point that out to your neighbour as well, even a ball signed by Rooney is not worth that much, apart from that, I agree with the rest, The ball would now be worth very little as an investment after being kicked around so just buy a normal one and remind them that if he kicks the ball over the fence and the ball causes any damage then he has committed a trespass and is responsible for any damage
