preteen internet sex education/puberty/relationships resources?

Hi, my DS is 10, I've always tried to be very open with him about the physical and emotional aspects of growing up, relationships and sex etc, and will answer any questions he has in an age appropriate way.

This week he asked me to change the settings on a game on his PC for him, and while I was doing it, one of his tabs was showing a very inappropriate you-tube video. I have told him that I understand that he is curious about bodies and relationships etc, but that the video he had loaded would give him a very skewed idea of what real relationships and sex and bodies were like. We're going to have a proper chat this weekend, but I'd like to be able to direct him to a site that gives age appropriate, realistic information about these things so that if for whatever reason he feels he can't ask me/his dad, he has a go-to place for information that is safe and real rather than essentially on-line soft-!!!!!!

(and I have set all the you tube prental controls that it is posible to set but sometimes you can follow a couple of links from a very innocuous place and get to somewhere that for an adult is fine, but not for a pre-teen).

any ideas?

I think I'd steer clear of the internet altogether with subject matters like that. Plenty of books around... might be a better option. Am sure others here can recommend if you're happy to go down that route instead.

Yes: don't use the internet as a child minder! It's reckless and irresponsible to let a young child use the internet unsupervised. You now know the consequences so sort it out.
