Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro

Does anyone have any experience using Crafters Companions Ulitimate Pro.

I have been watching all the YouTube video demonstrations and demos on Create & Craft channel. It looks like a useful bit of kit but I'm concerned it will like many other of my crafty purchase end up stuck in the back of the cupboard never to see the light of day.

It's really the box feature that interests me most, love hand made boxes and the ultimate pro demo's make it look so easy....

Is it as easy as it looks? Or can anyone suggest an alternative?

I have the CC Ultimate Pro board - which I bought from HobbyCraft,... not (I don't think) the one which is the latest copy, - and I also have the envelope board and the box making board.

Do I use the Ultimate Pro? Nope. It's an expensive bit of kit that those video's you watched on YouTube convinced me that I would be a total fool not to have.

Perhaps it's just me, and maybe someone else here has the item and uses it every day, in every way. But for me personally I've actually just this week said that I think I'll be selling mine on that well known internet auction site because it's something that's stored under my desk and the last time I got it out was to 'borrow' the creasing tool about 2 months ago, because I couldn't find the one I keep in a pot on my desk. I used it, put it back in the box and the whole board hasn't been out since.

I'm hoping that someone else will give you the opposite view as I'd hate to be the one which colours yours. I'd rather you got a balanced view point.

So ... anyone else got one and use it?

I got one and craft regularly. I'm glad you reminded me as I got it around November last year after seeing it demonstrated. Used it once I think. Along with the envelope pro which I never use. So perhaps they can goto the auction site in the sky

I think there's lots of ways to make cards/ crafts without one of these. I am addicted to my silhouette sd and never a week goes by without using it

Don't waste your money, I bought the crafters companion (not pro) and all the bits inside kept falling out and the trimmer broke which luckily enough allowed me to return it. Poor value for money.

I have the enveloper and boxer boards which I do use but my sister bought one and she says that she uses the little wooden bowmaker I got her for her birthday much more often....
