Carers of disabled go free

I'm a support worker for adults with L/D's and pretty much everywhere we've been has offered a discount and free carer - usually have to ask first tho, as not always mentioned by them
Only time we have been refused was in Vue cinemas.. Have to send for a pass for there apparently.0 -
Hi,
Just to say that my friend and I regularly go to Vue Cinema at Greenwich, London, with no problem - he shows his 'Freedom Pass' (which you get as a free travel pass in London if you're disabled) and we sometimes have to fill a form out. In theory they require you to get one of their special passes but we've avoided this as you have to name a specific carer and that would be really restricting for him. It's never been a problem.
HOWEVER what I just came across is a card that gets a carer accompanying a disabled person in free to loads of cinema chains, not just Vue, and not limited to a named 'carer' , for £5.50 one-off fee:

It works for Cuzon, Odeon, Cineworld, Apollo.... and lots of others
Good eh :-)0
