In my area there are 11 properties within 1/2 a mile and none under offer.
Doesn't look good for my house that's about to be put on the market. Although my area is very small as Kendal is the only town amongst villages and not many people sell because they are all second homes !0 -

In 3 miles within my area there are 148 on the market and 29 Sold STC.
In our under £250k house search there are 62 total and 23 of those sold stc, can see where the market is moving fastest.If it doesn’t move, and it should, use WD-40. If it moves, and it shouldn’t, use duct tape!0 -
Within one mile of our house one property has come onto the market within the last 14 days - not yet under offer.........but our area too is one where there are a lot of second home owners who rarely sell up. In our village itself there are three properties listed in total, one which is SSTC.
In DS's location - SW19 - 126 have come onto the market (or been amended
) in the last 14 days, 26 of which are under offer........
DS will be marketing his flat in the new year so we're already keeping an eye on things
