Sorry, but the first thought that sprang to your mind from novices and forex trading was school children and drug dealers. The fact that your mind linked novice with school children getting dealt drugs on their playground has surely got the police looking at your computer as we speak.
Look, I am not on here to have pathetic slagging marathons and I can only hope you agree with me on that. I don't understand why you are trying to one up my opinion all the time. And with regards to me trying to get a novice into forex trading... I think you may find I said he needs to educate himself first and foremost.
Quite frankly, you are the type of person that would say to Richard Branson, prior to him becoming one of the world's most successful entreupeneurs, that what he was doing was out of reach, silly, and that he should get a real job.
Unfortunately, our world is plagued with pessimistic opinions and teachings all the way back into schools, and people using emotional drivers to keep up from being who we want to be. Believe it or not, you are displaying those same attributes. It's not a mugs game, because there are a lot of people who have become successful from it as well as failed, just like people have failed in starting their own businesses.
If my opinion stinks to you, so be it; but it is quite clear my outlook on life is a lot more positive than yours and always will be.
P.S. Living at home is wonderful.0 -

No, go back and read what I wrote as you've missed something important.Look, I am not on here to have pathetic slagging marathons
I'd rather you didn't do either this or advise novices to take up very risky trading strategies, but if forced to choose, then I'd rather your pathetic slagging than dangerous advice.Quite frankly, you are the type of person that would say ...

Yes, and speaking as a serial entrepreneur with several successful businesses behind me, this does chafe somewhat. However, "get rich quick" schemes are nothing of the sort, at least not for the punter, and there really is no alternative to hard slog. Dreams of easy riches can also keep people stuck in a rut where they can't imagine success other than via their numbers coming up so don't even try.If my opinion stinks to you, so be it; but it is quite clear my outlook on life is a lot more positive than yours and always will be.
I think you'll find there is a big difference between positive and rose tinted.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -
OP, just remember the 90 90 90 rule.
90% of traders lose 90% of their money within 90 daysFaith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0 -

Much as I loved living at home, having my own place was much nicer.
Get rich slowly is less exciting but a far more productive strategy for most people investing.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

I suspect retail forex brokers might have a thing or two to say about that, but yes for mere mortals...'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0
