If that was true then 1st contact to solicitor would be 16:50 uk time so then the solicitor call would be after 16.50 uk
3:50 Friend (X) of Y contacts Solicitor
4:00-4:10pm Accident occurs between Y and Z
4:30 Solicitor engages with Z
doesn't add up
also in my experience solicitors tend to use communications in writing after they get written facts. they don't normally ring (?) asking for details.0 -
I would doubt the solicitor is obligated to divulge the nature of their dealings with a client, unless forced to by an order of the court.
Is it possible that the call you say took place at 3.50pm was that person speaking to their solicitor about a matter they were already dealing with, the accident happens and then the person speaks with the same solicitor about the subsequent incident - thus giving instructions at 4.30pm for accident #2?0 -

So in summary is this the issue:
Z is at fault in an accident which he now believes was actually a crash for cash where he was targeted prior to the incident taking place because the other sides solicitor was briefed with his details bsfore the cash.
If so, then z needs to include all this in his report to his own solicitor/insurers.0 -
and keep a copy ready for sending to the police & SRA if there isn't a plausible explanation forthcoming0
