Payment charges for using cash

Good afternoon
Not sure if this is in the right section, but.....
I have just returned from purchasing two ice hockey tickets from the Sheffield Arena, and to say I am shocked is an understatement.
I went with the intention of paying £20 for two tickets, one adult & one child. I also went with the intention of paying cash, as I know the Arena charge a fee for using your credit/debit card, which still amazes me in this age where receiving and sending money electronically is the easiest thing ever.
I was told the price was £22.83!! This was because the price increases for tickets bought on a match day, which sort of defeats the object of encouraging 'walk-ups' and a 5% fee for paying CASH!!!
I know we've all got to make money somewhere but charging people extra for using cash!!?? Are they trying to get people not to come to games/concerts?
What a ridiculous fee!!
