Last week I won spiderman 3 for the xbox 360. I was going to give it to a 13 year old boy until I discovered he had an ordinary xbox, not the 360. It is worth £39.99 and I am wondering if I can ask somewhere like Tesco to change it for another game?

can u not swap it for a magenta dress
Try it, the worst they can say is no0 -
Is it sealed? You could try it but if it was me I dont think I would as I hadnt got it from there. I would probably put it on ebay or see if there is a shop such as a market one or somewhere that takes seconds and see if they will swap it for a different oneWeight Loss - 102lb0

If its sealed Pru, don't take it to an exchange place, cos they will only undo it to check the disc
The best bet is to take it back to somewhere like Tescos and say its a duplicate pressie... although thinking about it, the barcodes might not tally with their tills :think:0 -
If its sealed then I would do as Kipper says and try taking it back to a supermarket or Woolies - or anywhere that sells the games and say it was a duplicate pressie from a granny!Weight Loss - 102lb0

If you go to a Tesco with a self-scanner you could just scan it first to check the bar code works but I wouldn't do it tbh. If it's a slightly different version or something then it's going to be a shopper that will possibly draw the short straw.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

You could try HMV like brook_son did. TBH as the Xbox 360 game is worth more than normal Xbox version i can't see them saying no. They are giving you a cheaper bit of stock in exchange for a more valuable one. I would probably say someone bought it for me in the wrong format, than a win, though.0

I would try it.
Take it to a supermarket that sells them and say it was a present (as you have no receipt)
