good morning everyone,
could I ask your advice on which laptop has the more preferable 'bits' lol....that's about the height of my techie knowledge!!
our eldest is 14 and needs a laptop for school work but also one that will allow he to plug into a tv to watch films etc, plus she uses facetime a lot so something similar webcam wise! heres the 2 I have found that seem to tick the boxes (has to be under £400!) but if someone could sway me to the preffered operating system etc..I would very much appreciate it!

I would suggest you take DD down to PC world and try them out, see which she prefers. keyboard differences, trackpad positioning, etc may be different / make a difference. Try out the aspects she's keen on etc. Its the best way to decide!Friendly greeting!0

Don't buy a Dell they smell of cat pee.:rotfl:That gum you like is coming back in style.0

The DELL is no longer available and really isn't anything special for the price and I'm not that keen on HP.0
-
Watch out for the up-selling at PC World !
of course that can't happen if you buy on-line0 -

Come on bob, the second one has a 10.1" screen and the first is a bit far from a MacBook.
For a similar spec you can pay £100 less.0 -
Obviously an edit while you were posting.0
