Degree Classification on CV query

Thanks for your responses. Think I will change it on my CV just on the safe side!
I got a desmond back in 1989. I don't think I've ever put anything other than BENG(Hons) on any CV and I'm not sure that anyone (apart from my first job, who wanted me to get at least a desmond) has ever asked what grade I got.0 -
If you have less than 3 years experience I would go with 'second class honours'
If it is more than 3 years, ie, you have good experience, don't mention classification.
I would look down on those who are unable to be competitive and market themselves through their CV.0 -
I got a 2:2, didn't put the degree classification on my CV, applied for jobs that required a 2:1, fessed up in interview, and got the job. They liked my attitude, work experience, and felt I'd fit in well.
If I'd had put the 2:2 on the CV, then chances are I never would have got an interview.
Personally I think that those who can't see beyond a degree class aren't worth working for.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
