Quick question re: price rises

For various reasons our electricity meter hasn't been read for nearly a year.
We have received a couple of estimated bills, but the estimation is based on usage before we moved in. IE they have been 2 tiny bills.
With the price rises coming into force next month, when they come to charge us for the 9 months we've underpaid, will they use the new or the old price?
TIA for any help.

The old price.
I would get a reading ASAP, before the increase come into force.0 -
Without action by yourself 'The Computer' would work out how much to be charged at the new and the old rate based on an algorithm(program) that takes into account time of year, weather etc.
So you should phone in a reading now and be billed for that consumption at the old rate.0
