Car catagories Help
Hi all,
I am 33 and have had my full UK license since 1998-1999. And was wandering what i am able to drive. Anyway, those catagorie's are AM/A/B1/B/f/k/p/q. What are these and what size bike am i able to ride on it? I should say that i have just booked my motorcycle theory test but do i have to? I have done my CBT as well, cheers all for your wisdom;)

You can drive a moped without displaying L plates as your full car licence also gives you a full moped licence.
As you have completed CBT you can drive up to a 125 with L plates displayed. If you want to ride a larger capacity bike it has to be in the company of a suitably qualified motorcycle instructor who is in radio contact with you.
As you are over 24 I would recommend taking the direct access motorcycle test as this will, on successful completion of your theory, module 1 and module 2 tests, give you a licence to ride any size motorcycle with no power restriction."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
