Energy Suppliers Price Guarantee
My dual fuel energy supplier is EDF with a blue price promise until Dec 2014.and I am guaranteed that if I could obtain savings of at least £52 per year from a different supplier then EDF will notify me. I am a bit dubious about the usefulness of this guarantee as surely EDF can only give the guarantee by comparing other suppliers tariffs which have an identical promise, ie, fixed until Dec 2014. If there are no comparable tariffs in the market place then I would imagine the guarantee is worthless. Do other forum users have these concerns.
