Will moving to Sky talk effect Sky TV in anyway?

Hi there,

I have Sky TV/Broadband & BT calls & Line. I want to move from BT to Sky Talk/Line as its cheaper. I do not use talk at all, but understand I have to have it for the broadband.

What I would like to know before I call them is will it effect my Sky Tv in anyway? Ie if I want to cancel sky tv in a few months would I be tied in for longer due to agreeing a contract with the Talk/line side?

I have had Sky TV for many years.

Hi, I've just done this, moved by BT landline to Sky (and get a discount on the broadband on top of that).
The initial contract is 12 months, as everything/everywhere, but I believe it'd be independent of the TV package, that is, you could cancel the TV pack and still keep the Sky phone line (and pay just for this).
