I'm trying to decide between the Wilko's one, the Lidl one which is also £80 and has a free blender and is 1200 watts, or waiting and saving up for a Kenwood or Kitchen Aid

This Andrew James one on Amazon is cheaper and has amazing reviews:

Haven't got one myself but it'd definitely be in my Wish List!

I have two or three Andrew James things and I have to say I've been delighted with them. If the stand mixer is as good as the other items I already have, then that would be a great buy.
  • Wilko's saying 12 in stock and ready to ship right now but back up to £100 :(

Just spoken to Lidl and they're completely sold out across the entire country and won't be getting anymore in stock.

  • That's the problem with lido they never have enough of their offers, I don't even bother anymore. Well done to those that got them.

I can't believe wilkos have bumped up the price cheecky beggars, I am sure it will come back down, to be honest though I would have paid that for it.

I was a bit cheeky and phoned up to protest about it being back at £100, and she said there was nothing she could do so I asked for a manager to call me back...
Same lady phoned up 10 mins later and said she had authorization to sell me it for £100 and then refund me £20 immediately. I got free home delivery too, so a nice cream food mixer should be with me in 3-4 working days as will my refund. Woop :)

To be fair to Wilko's the full price for this mixer has always been £100, it was a short term offer of £20 off.
  • Yeah I hear you still for a solid 1000w machine its still good value.
